BHOPAL: In a case of high-handedness, a video of ticket collector (TC) Bismillah Hasan Ali hurling abuses and threatening an elderly woman travelling with three children has gone viral after a fellow passenger tweeted it to railway minister Suresh Prabhu, recently.
The TC was suspended by Bhopal division on Tuesday with immediate effect after the clip started doing rounds on Monday.

Ali has now been summoned to the DRM's office within three days' time.
The video was shot by fellow passenger Pankaj Agarwal, who was shocked at the TC's misdemeanour. Thereafter he tweeted it to the railway minister's official handle @sureshprabhu. In the video, the TC was about to hit them and can be clearly seen raising his fist, but was stopped by other passengers.
As per information, an elderly woman had boarded Kamayani Express from Hoshangabad to Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh on February 2. She had purchased a general class ticket. However, in a hurry, instead of general coach, she boarded a sleeper coach, which drew his ire.
In the video, the flying squad TC can be seen abusing the woman and her children in shocking language and hurling abuses. Despite repeated pleas, the TC is seen threatening the woman, even telling her he will throw them off the train and in another instance later in the video, cutting them to pieces.
The woman even pleaded not to abuse them and spare her children as she was ready to pay fine of Rs 300, but the TC continued to bulldoze them.
Agarwal said he was a regular traveller to Khandwa and, on more than one occasion, he had seen the same TC misbehaving with other passengers as well.
Senior divisional commercial manager (Sr DCM) Brijendra Kumar had told TOI on Monday, "We are examining the video and trying to identify the TC. Whosoever is the errant TC, action will be initiated against him."
